Globemaster Alliums
On my walk into work each day, I pass through the Rose Kennedy Greenway in Boston-http://www.rosekennedygreenway.org/index.php . It is a beautiful space made up of several open landscaped areas. Each has its own design and feel. It is such a pleasure to see it change with the seasons. New this year are these giant Globemaster Alliums. They are literally the size of basketballs! I remembered to bring in my camera to capture their beauty-

Such beautiful flowers, I have never seen any like them. I can imagine how wonderfully they smell!
ReplyDeleteThese didn't have too strong of a smell..You would think by looking at them they would be overwhelming, but they are not. I have a smaller version of these in my garden, but hope to get these for next year :)
